Why can't I pair a Plantronics Explorer 220 Bluetooth Headset to my 16gb iPod Touch 2gen for use with Skype?
I have the latest firmware for my iPod Touch 2gen.. yet I still can not pair the headset listed in the initial question.
Are some brands and or kinds of Bluetooth mic/mono ear bud headsets used for making calls on a regular bluetooth enabled cellphone not compatible with the 2gen iPod Touch ?

the reason why I think that you can not pair a Plantronic PL220 with an iPod touch is because, the iPod touch requires a Bluetooth headset that is music capable and the PL220 does not have the capability of listening to music with it.
but the good news is there are so many other Bluetooth that do have the music capability and you are able to use them with an iPod touch. like the Plantornics Voyager Pro+ or for better music you can look into something like the Plantronic Voyager BackBeat .
